The Geeks

I have to tell you about the Greeks
They were just a bunch of Geeks
They thought,
and pondered,
and debated.

And then they did things X-rated.

and because of this negated
any guilt.

You see,
they had the notion,
that god was emotion,
and perhaps they had a point well taken.

I know the goddess of rage
she tears up my every page
and she makes me behave
in a way
that is faintly familiar
but unacceptable.

And the goddess of love
from above
never shows
until I appreciate her first
and the thirst
is undeniable.
